Simple Terms for Simple Signs. Here Is What You Need to Know Before Ordering.

1. Agreement

By using the Yard & Sign Printing website or ordering signs, you agree to these terms. We are operated by Black Asterisk LLC, located at 30 North Gould Street, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. If you disagree with any of these terms, please do not place an order.

2. What We Offer

Yard & Sign Printing makes custom yard signs, lawn signs, banners, car magnets, and related outdoor signage. Every sign is made to order from your artwork after you approve a proof.

We may decline orders with content that is unlawful, threatening, or infringes on the rights of others.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on each product page based on your selected size, material, and quantity. Most yard sign prices include stakes or H-frames — the product page will specify what is included. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

Pay at order placement with a credit or debit card. Confirmed orders are honored at the checkout price. Tax is applied where required.

4. Your Sign Artwork

Upload your design in PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, or high-resolution JPG/PNG format. For yard signs, 150 to 300 DPI at print size works well — signs are typically viewed from a distance. Use CMYK color mode. Include 0.125-inch bleed if your design runs to the edge.

We check your file for technical issues at no charge. If the resolution is low or the bleed is missing, we will let you know before printing. We do not proofread the text on your sign — make sure names, dates, and phone numbers are correct. Full specs on our File Guidelines page.

5. Proof Approval

You will receive a digital proof showing how your sign will look. Check every detail — the text, the colors, the layout. Once you approve, we start printing. Changes after approval require a new production run.

Colors on your screen will look slightly different from colors on a printed sign. We do our best to match, but monitors and printed corrugated plastic display color differently. This is normal.

6. Production and Delivery

Standard production is 5 to 7 business days after proof approval. Rush production is 3 to 4 business days for most sign products. Shipping time is additional — ground is 3 to 5 days, with faster options available.

We ship to all 50 states. Yard signs usually ship in flat boxes via standard carriers. Very large orders may ship via freight. Local pickup is available in the Chicago area. We are not responsible for carrier delays after your signs leave our facility.

7. Returns

Signs are custom-made and cannot be returned because you changed your mind. Our guarantee covers production problems — if we made an error, we reprint or refund. Report issues within 7 days of delivery with photos. See our Returns page for details.

8. Your Content

You are responsible for the content on your signs. Make sure you have the right to use any logos, images, and text in your design. If a design promotes a business, candidate, or event, make sure all information is accurate and authorized. We print what you approve — the content is your responsibility.

9. Content Restrictions

We may refuse to print signs with illegal, defamatory, obscene, or threatening content. Declined orders get a full refund.

10. Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of your sign order. We are not responsible for indirect damages including missed events, lost opportunities, or costs from reprinting elsewhere.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold Black Asterisk LLC harmless from claims arising from your use of our services, your sign content, or your violation of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes are posted here with a new date. Continuing to order after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing Law

Wyoming law governs these terms. Disputes are resolved in Wyoming courts.
